Your support for the Endowment Fund for Financial Aid allows The American School Foundation to provide financial aid to qualified students who otherwise would not be able to join the school or complete their studies. It is based on an need-based application process and includes a complete socioeconomic study by a third-party agency.
We currently provide financial aid to 16% of the student body with an average 50% discount rate. Our goal is to increase our outreach and to be helping 20% of our students. All annual donations and proceeds from fundraising events support our financial aid program.
The land where the school was built was donated, and all the ASF facilities were constructed with funding from donations by families and our community. Recent facilities built as a result of fundraising efforts include the Sheila Rafferty Ahumada Administration Building, Lipu Transportation Center, Ángeles Espinosa Yglesias Fine Arts Center and Jenkins Foundation Wellness Center.
The school is now planning to renovate the Lower School and Early Childhood Center and construct a bridge to connect both facilities.
Naming opportunities from prior campaigns are still available and new ones will open in the near future. Philanthropic naming provides enduring recognition that creates a lasting legacy.

18th Annual ASF AT&T Golf Tournament
- Thursday, June 17, 2021

The ASF Golf Tournament has been a successful and powerful event for the ASF Community thanks to our sponsors and volunteers. Some previous sponsors have been: GNP, AT&T, Toyota, JP Morgan, Garmin, PepsiCo, BestBuy, Huawei, José Cuervo, among others. This year, due to Covid-19 Pandemic, we were forced to make adjustments to guarantee a safe event, therefore the event will be available for 90 players only. A PCR Covid-19 test will be available for all assistants upon arrival. All of the funds raised in this event are used to support the Endowment Fund for Financial Aid. The Endowment Fund´s goal is to provide financial aid, which currently benefits 16% of our student body and it is the Board of Trustees' goal to raise this percentage to 20%.
